2005 Porsche 987 Boxster S for sale (engine issues)

2005 987 Boxster S 6 speed manual, 3.2 flat 6 cylinder engine. CAR IS FOR SALE AS IS WITH SOME TYPE OF ENGINE ISSUES. Car was running and driving really well until we suddenly heard a strange knocking / ticking type noise in the engine, on further investigation we discovered metal filings in the oil in the sump. Engine still turns by hand but requires further investigation to determine the damage. Blue paintwork still in good condition for year (has a few stonechips) Black leather interior in good condition, roof working recently had brand new roof gears fitted. 18" wheels (will need new tyres) done 127 000 km with lots of service history, will require front brake pads sometime in the near future (sensor light comes on sometime) Factory fitted optional extras include Bose sound system, CD Shuttle, Porsche active stability management suspension (PASM) traction control (PSM) Looking for R175 000.00 AS IS (not interested in trade or swaps, this is a private sale) Vehicle in my name with fully upto date paperwork and licensed till December 2025.
