This is any Audiophile's dream – a Set of (Vintage)Teledyne Acoustic Research Speakers – Connoisseur Series Model 20B.The Speakers were produced in England between 1982 – 1988, almost 40 years old. Still in Excellent Condition with very minor damage, but this is due to standard wear and aging. The sound quality only improves over time and still produces excellent treble and also a very clean and tight bass. At their age, these speakers WILL still out perform some of the big names in the sound industry, with no real effort. Specifications:Bookshelf acoustic suspension 2 way system with drive units in a vertical array. Driver units: 200mm long throw acoustic suspension woofer, 25mm liquid-cooled dome high range driver. Each speaker requires 10watts per channel minimum and may be used with amplifiers rated at up to 100 watts per channel. Impedance: 8 ohms normal or 5.8 ohms minimum. The woofer has a 12 dB/octave mechanical crossover. High range has a third order electrical network – Crossover Frequency: 3000Hz.
